Meet the Photographer

Artist Statement:

My name is Michael Randall and I want to thank you for your interest in my work. I started to gain an interest in photography about twenty years ago, and I have not looked back since. Photography appeals to me because of its logical and technical nature, with techniques that can be applied before, during, and after to achieve precise results. The techniques allow the ability to highlight all the beauty in nature but also present the subject matter with my own artistic style.

I have been blessed to have the opportunity to be in the right place at the right time to capture special memories. Being able to get “the shot” has no boundaries; standing in water, getting the lowest angle possible, not being afraid to try something new... is just a few examples of why I strive for excellence in every shot I capture. With a technical background, I apply what I have learned throughout my career in my post-processing workflow, online presentation, and artwork appearance. A multitude of equipment and software options provide me with the ability to produce a result with as much attention to detail as possible.

Artist Biography:

Born and raised in a rural community in North Central Ohio, I currently live in Hilliard, Ohio with my beautiful wife Casey and our dog Captain. By day, I am a senior solution architect for a software development company. By night, I am a licensed professional pyrotechnician.
